Apple Car Coming Soon
Apple Car: On the way to Tesla, Apple took the hand of the South Korean company to bring driverless cars
The Apple electric car project is an electric car project undergoing research and development by Apple Inc. Apple has yet to openly discuss any of its self-driving research, but around 5,000 employees were reported to be working on the project as of 2018.
If the speculation is true, the Apple Car will start moving automatically as soon as the seatbelt is fastened. No need to put your hands on the steering wheel. The car will understand the surrounding conditions of the road and will take the passenger to the destination like a skilled driver. The autopilot system will help him in this task. And Apple has teamed up with a South Korean company for this self-driving technology.
One of the news agencies of the country brought the news to the fore. It claims that Apple has taken the hand of an outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) or OSAT for their driverless car technology. As the name implies, such companies provide services such as processor assembly, packaging, and integrated circuit testing by reputable companies before they reach customers.
The report goes on to say that since last year, Apple has worked closely with the company to develop emergency chip modules to enable the autopilot feature of their upcoming vehicles. The entire project was run secretly from Apple's South Korean office. They have a contract with the company until next year.
Earlier, billionaire Elon Mask's company Tesla had also commissioned a South Korean company to assemble the autopilot chips for their smart cars with the help of Samsung.
Meanwhile, many are finding links to Apple's initiative to build Foxconn's electric car factory in the United States and Thailand. Because, they have been making iPhones for a long time with reference to supply. In that case, the possibility of making Apple car in that factory of Foxconn is bright.
