"We have come to this conclusion based, in part, on the filings made by the New York Attorney General on January 18, 2022, our own investigation, and information received from internal and external sources," Mazars wrote in a letter to Trump's chief legal officer, advising him to stop relying on financial statements from June 2011 to June 2020.
"While we have not concluded that the various financial statements as a whole include major differences, we believe our advice to you to no longer rely on those financial statements is appropriate based on the totality of the circumstances."
The company also recommended the Trump Organization not to rely on the representations and to tell any beneficiaries of the statements, such as lenders or insurance.
Mazars announced on Monday that it will no longer be Trump's accountant due to a "non-waivable conflict of interest." The only thing left undone, according to the accounting company, was the submission of Trump and Melania Trump's tax returns. It claims they are still looking for information on an apartment for Matthew Calamari Jr., the company's security director, which they have been looking for for months but have not received. Donald Bender, Trump's top accountant, testified before a grand jury investigating the Trump Organization last year, according to CNN sources.
The letter was included in a court filing by the New York attorney general's office, which has been attempting to execute a subpoena for Trump's documents and obtain his, Donald Trump Jr.'s, and Ivanka Trump's testimony. A court date has been set on Thursday.
"While we are disappointed that Mazars has decided to part ways, their February 9, 2022 letter confirms that Mazars' work was performed in accordance with all applicable accounting standards and principles and that such statements of financial condition do not contain any material discrepancies," a Trump Organization spokesperson said Monday. "With this confirmation, the DA and AG's investigations are practically moot."
Mazars didn't react to CNN's solicitations for input.
A few legal advisors say it's reasonable Mazars gave the admonition since they had recently approved the budget reports, and with late charges that they are erroneous, they would need to safeguard themselves and sound a caution that they shouldn't be depended on any longer.
The New York principal legal officer and Manhattan head prosecutor's office have been examining the precision of Trump's budget summaries to decide if any back up plans, banks or others were misdirected. Trump has recently said in affidavits in common examinations that he would offer his perspective with regards to the upsides of specific properties and it was "prevalently" Trump Organization's CFO Allen Weisselberg who chose the last number.

In an extended court documenting last month, the New York head legal officer's office asserted it has found "huge" proof "showing that the Trump Organization utilized fake or deluding resource valuations to get a large group of monetary advantages, including advances, protection inclusion, and expense allowances." On the fiscal reports, they affirmed, there were various "deceiving proclamations and exclusions."
Refering to the Mazars letter, legal counselors for the New York head legal officer's office composed on Monday, "This advancement further supports what OAG's past entries previously showed: The Court should arrange Respondents' consistence with OAG's record and tribute summons."
Legal counselors working for New York Attorney General Letitia James likewise pushed back on Trump's contention that she is attempting to "end run" the amazing jury process by looking for their declaration as area of the city examination while there is a continuous criminal examination. Trump's group has contended that James, whose office reported it was collaborating with the Manhattan head prosecutor's office on the lawbreaker case, was politically persuaded.
In Monday's documenting, James' office said two lawyers were assigned to work with the lead prosecutor, however said they "report to, and work at, the bearing" of the head prosecutor, Alvin Bragg.
